When we were first learning how to become innkeepers, the following story was passed on to us by another innkeeper.
We hope you never have this problem at our Napa Valley Bed and Breakfast- but do let us know if you find more than 50 bars of soap in your room!!!

Oenotri... Oh no!
Sad news...it seems Oenotri founders Tyler Rodde and Curtis Di Fedde have had a parting of the ways.
Word on the street is that one is leaving, and the other will remain at the helm.
We will update this as we get more information, but wanted our longtime guests to know this as soon as we did.
As far as we know, the restaurant will continue serving its amazing fare, every day and night.
We are big supporters of what Oenotri is and does, and will continue to be.

Old World Inn Napa Bed and Breakfast in USA Today Travel Tips
Lots of folks love to come to the Napa Valley.
For many, one of the hardest questions is: Where to stay in Napa?
USA Today addresses this in their Hotels in the Napa Area article (a Travel Tips section feature), offering advice on the best lodging properties in Napa.
USA Today had very specific choices, and only a select few made the cut. In the article, they recommended two Resorts, two large Inns, two Hotels, but only ONE area bed and breakfast.

Coppola buys Inglenook?
If you've stayed at our Napa Valley Bed and Breakfast Inn, you may have visited Francis Ford Coppola's Napa Valley Winery. Now called Rubicon Estates, the winery is known by many as "Coppola" (or "Niebaum Coppola").
A few days ago, movie director and winery owner Coppola announced that the winery would again change its name: back to Inglenook, the name the winery had for decades.

Napa Valley Wineries/Weather update- March/April 2011
As innkeepers of this Napa Bed and Breakfast Hotel, one of our greatest pleasures is seeing, smelling and hearing the change of seasons in the Napa Valley. The green of the valley is breathtaking. The smells of the blossoms are everywhere. And, perhaps our favorite, the sweet song of newly hatched birds during the day is a perfect backdrop for the coming of spring.

Eat, Pray, Love . . . in Napa?!
If you stayed at our Napa Bed and Breakfast last week, you may have done a double take if you were eating at some of Napa's more famous restaurants.
Julia Roberts was in town to talk about her new film "Eat Pray Love".
Lucky press folks feasted on a special meal at Michael Chiarello's Bottega restaurant, and the cast dined at the world famous French Laundry later that day. (here's a report).

Morimoto Napa: One word: WOW

Old World Inn Welcomes 3 new innkeepers and an Executive Chef!
Over the past few months, Innkeepers Victor Eddleman, Ryan Geoghagen, and Joy Wesley have all joined our innkeeping staff. And we have finally found an executive chef for the Inn!
Victor is a recent graduate of the California Culinary Academy, with a major in Hospitality Management. He's a great guy who loves to cook and is looking forward to learning the finer points of innkeeping. He hails from Claude, Texas.
Ryan was born and raised in Napa, and knows more Napa back roads and short cuts...

Folks often ask us what it's like to live at a Napa Bed & Breakfast.

We do both. We love to cook and develop new recipes for our Napa B&B.
But one of the greatest pleasures of living in the Napa Valley is going out to eat, and experiencing all the wonderfulness of a great Napa Valley restaurant.
